It had been a challenge that was looked at from several vantage points, and this report is complimented by numerous maps looks at several routes, from Chicago, to Milwaukee to Fond Du Lac to the "Neenah and Wiskonsin" Rivers as a possible connection route to the Mississippi. This report and maps by Capt Cram really focus on the potential of Neenah (Fox) River and Wisconsin river routes.
