A beautiful mid-19th century woodblock engraving of the world from a Japanese mapmaker. Centered on the Pacific, this world map shows major rivers and some national boundaries, with a stenciled hand color distinguishing each of the continents. Not common, this is an attractive and a crisp image.
Condition is good with some light soiling. Image size is 6.25 x 8.25 (inches)
