(World - Ocean Floor) The Floor of the World Ocean
Redrawn and modified from his first effort in 1959, here we see the next frontier of man, the vast ocean floor that was yet to be fully understood. Here, unveiled from the waves are the major features of the ocean's floor derived from the work of Dr Bruce Heezen and Dr Henry Menard. Done on a Briesmeister Elliptical Equal-area projection with some modification for centering it gives a comprehensive view of the undersea landscape.
Condition is very good, ex-libris, with "Duplicate" stamped in the lower margin . Image size is approximately 19.5 x 28 (inches)
