A rare and beautiful example of the pictorial approach to cartography used by a Japanese publisher, in this instance of a board game. It offers a different perspective on world cultures and even notably includes some of the far flung Japanese enclaves, such as the large expat community in South America. Brightly colored and full of the style and focus of the period, it's an attractive early instance of Asian published pictorial material. Ephemeral and uncommon
