(WY. - Postal) Post Route Map Of Wyoming Showing Post Offices With Intermediate Distances On Mail Mail Routes..., U.S. Govt., 1946 An uncommon thematic map that details an important infrastructure layer of the time, the mail routes. Done on a clear and distinct base map we see the towns, counties, drainages, and the all so important fine lines that identify the mail routes from town to town. Interestingly this too includes some of the mail air routes, such as the line between Cheyenne and Casper or from Rock Springs to apparently Denver. This map saw some heavy use at the time and is filled with manuscript notations identifying routes, times, and much more. Condition is good with one or two closed repaired tears.
