  • A tremendous thematic map of the world by the great Scottish publisher Johnston. This Zoological map shows the situation of the world's reptiles, noting for instance, the limit of where one could find iguanas, "alligators" or even the limit of "frogs and salamanders". Two large vignettes in each corner show some everything from tortoises to alligators and a boa constrictor eating a marsh deer. Ther are actually four thematic maps on this one sheet, three focusing on specific topics, such as "Venomous Serpents" around the world. Also a large mountain chart shows the limit in elevation for different species. Large and attractive with some hand color.

Condition is very good. Image size is 20 x 23.5 (inches)
