A tremendous thematic map of the world by the great Scottish publisher Johnston. This sheet contains two Zoological maps showing the situation of the world's "Rodentia (gnawing animals), and the "Ruminantia (Ruminating Animals)". Each map notes, for instance the limit of where you would find giraffe, porcupines or even "American Bison". Eight large vignettes show an overview of everything from squirrels and rabbits to beaver and camels. Also a large mountain chart shows the limit in elevation for different species. Large and attractive with some hand color.
