Couldn't wait to send out a quick list on some recent arrivals that we found interesting. Includes some early newspaper maps for the U.S. West, and a few other things that caught our eye. Hope this finds you and yours well, and as always feel free to contact us with questions or requests.

These are the very real, yet mostly imperceptible frontiers of the time. From Atomic radiation, to visible light, to radar, television bandwidth, up to "alternating current for light & power". This is a chart of some of the domains that exist beyond our senses but form and contain our world, and would be the focus of many 20th century developments. Condition is good with some marginal repaired tears and minor chipping. Overall size is approximately 29 x 41.5 (inches)

This detailed, dark copperplate engraving illustrates the Alps and valleys, the lakes and drainages, as well as the roads, cities towns and canton boundaries. It's an amazing work, complimented by nice cartouches.
